I was diagnosed with DCIS in March of ...Great post. I was diagnosed with DCIS in March of this year it was contained I lost both my breasts.I did not have to have any other treatments after the surgery. I was not angry, scared, worried for myself but for my family. I do not see myself as a cancer survivor and I do understand what you said about feeling pressured to do the survivor walk, to talk about the cancer, to donate time and money,It makes a person feel guilty for not doing any of it, but, I am still trying to understand this whole thing.
